Texas A&M University – Texarkana

The new Building for Academic and Student Services on the campus of Texas A&M University – Texarkana was designed by the architect as a “gateway” to the campus. FlexFacades was retained by the architecture firm to design a visual element for the building facade that would maintain views while lowering heat gain. The Type 2A Ventilated PTFE Fiberglass mesh with FlexFacades cladding screens mounted on steel framework lower heat gain and allow for views through the facade. Strategically incorporated lighting transforms the look of the building from day to night.
