Shell Federal Credit Union Headquarters Parking Garage

For the new four-story, 668-car parking garage at the Shell Federal Credit Union (SFCU) headquarters in Deer Park, Texas, FlexFacades by Structurflex was engaged to provide a value-engineered facade solution. The parking garage is highly visible among its neighbors and highly anticipated by SFCU employees, and it was important that the architect’s design intent be realized within the project budget.

FlexFacades by Structurflex provided design assist, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the 9,700-square-foot FlexFacades Cladding System with a Type 1A Mesh as the parking structure facade with a custom screenprint. Because the cost of FlexFacades installed is, on average, 50% less than the cost of metal mesh, the client realized significant savings. The result is a compelling visual that provides privacy from neighboring buildings and supports ongoing staff recruiting efforts.
