Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport – Lindbergh Garage (Terminal 1)

FlexFacades by Structurflex assisted the design team in coming up with a screening solution that was not only cost-effective but also required the least amount of steel of any screening system on the market today as to not interfere with the airport’s traffic control radar system and allowed for plenty of airflow to maintain an open parking garage. We utilized the most durable fiberglass PTFE Mesh (Type 2A) in black to contrast the parking garages’ main clay tile facade system.  The perimeter aluminum extrusions were custom painted black to match the mesh as an added cost.
