St Teresa’s Academy

The Goppert Learning Center at St. Teresa’s Academy was designed to create a state-of-the-art library learning commons on the school’s 20-acre campus. It was important to both the building’s aesthetic and to the safety of the students that adequate lighting be incorporated into the new design. FlexFacades worked with the architecture firm to develop cladding screens made of Type 3A Ventilated PVDF Mesh, a rigid and durable material that is also highly translucent. The material also glows when hit by light, so FlexFacades determined the correct placement of lightning within the structure to create visual appeal and deliver maximum illumination.
